Support Assistant for Modern LSS Unit in Järna

About the Job

We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference! With us, you will work in a modern service residence and daily activities in Kallfors/Järna, with adults within person group 1 according to LSS. Our goal is for each individual to live as independently and meaningfully as possible.

Responsibilities

You will provide support and guidance in daily life – both practically and pedagogically – based on each person's needs. You will also be responsible for developing working methods and approaches together with your colleagues. The work involves contact with relatives and other actors in the network.

We are looking for someone who

– Has experience working with people with disabilities, autism, and/or challenging behaviors

– Is secure, structured, and has a low-arousal approach

– Is accustomed to working with clear pedagogical methods and documentation

– Speaks and writes Swedish

– Preferably has training as a support pedagogue or similar

– Has psychiatric competence
